The memory did not get delivered to us on the initial shipment. FedEx had told me that the shipping address on the package was incorrect so it was shipped back to you. I had contacted you via email and by phone a couple of times before I could get it shipped out again. So, the order was originally placed on 12/29/09 and we did not receive it until 1/29/10. |

I was excited to use the suggested upgrade but was surprised that the performance was spotty, at best. The screen now flickers with image intensive files, websites that use flash are not as stable, and at times, the overall performance decreased speed. However, there are times when the laptop is stellar.
Overall, the upgrade is now making me think of going back to the original factory 2GB set up and find another alternative. I was looking for consistency in performance but not found it in this chip.
Do you have suggestions or advice on how to address performance issues?

I ordered 2 x 2GB 533MHz RAM chips from Pro Memory for my wife's Toshiba Tecra A8 laptop. This memory replaced a single 512mb chip that came standard in the laptop. The order arrived quickly, and the memory was easy to install. The speed of the laptop is vastly improved, and the price of the memory was very inexpensive. The Good and The Bad |

Lets see where to start, ordering the memory was easy and it shipped pretty decent and on time. Now when I received the memory one stick worked and the other one didn't had to send back one memory stick for a RMA but here's where the fun begins. Here comes the bad, getting hold of someone to send back one memory stick was a task and I mean a task! Had to leave a message eventually someone called me back to where we could do a RMA on one memory stick and to boot had to pay for my own shipping for the return. Now the good, they replaced the defected memory stick with a new one and mailed it with no problem and it works in a netbook now that runs with 2GB of memory. the reason I give it three stars is the defected memory stick and the lack of customer service right off the bat, but like I said they did replace it. The reason I order 4GB of memory was for a family member that was visiting for the holidays and always travels with her laptop that has vista on it and only came with 1GB of memory. So she needed the upgrade bad, but of coarse I could only put 2GB in the laptop because one memory stick was bad. The next thing I had to do was buy another stick of memory locally which was costly just to complete the upgrade while she was in town for Christmas. Still did the RMA on the memory but was stuck with a extra 2GB module which eventually went into a netbook for another relative. So good luck with the purchase at our own risk! |

I upgraded my memory on one of my laptops from 2GB to 4GB with the PRO memory. This was for my Toshiba Satellite A215 that I use to surf the net with around the house. I bought two 2GB Ram modules and install was a two minute task. It uses PC2-5300 200 PIN DDR2 667 Mhz small outline DIMM. I received the product fast and it came in a static shield bag that was a very nice touch. Now I can use my laptop to its full potential. |
