Subject: Purchase review
Comments: I ordered 2- 1GB memory cards to upgrade my Dell Dimension 4700 but received 4- 512MB cards instead. I understand these are equivalent as to total memory but the 4 cards take up all 4 memory slots. So, if I upgrade more (e.g. add 2GB more), I will have to remove 1-4 cards to make room and will waste the 512MB cards. I had planned on using 2 - 1GB cards initially and then adding two more eventually for a total of 4GB. Also, not sure if the speed across 4 cards is the same as across 4 cards. I should have been asked prior to shipping. Everything else was fine (shipping speed, email notices, pricing).

Comments: The second start up after installing the new memory I purchased, my computer went to a blue screen of death. After a lengthy reinstall of drivers I developed new problems. I went back to the original memory I received in my Dell computer and all my problems disappeared. I am afraid to test the new memory further. I really made a mistake with this purchase.
