I needed a memory upgrade for our Dell PowerEdge 2950, and after reviewing several companies on the Internet I chose Pro Memory and ordered a couple of 4 GB memory upgrades for the Server. The memory was in stock and shipped the same day. I was concerned about mixing memory in the server as I have heard of problems with some memory causing start up problems and warnings on the PowerEdge Servers.
I put my 4 memory sticks into my server and it restarted without error or problems. The server has been runniing under heavy use for the last two weeks without any incident or problem. This memory meets or exceeds the specification required for my 2950. Pro Memory delivered exactly what they said they would, when they said they would and at a very competitive price. The next time I need a memory upgrade, Pro Memory will get my business. |
