DRAM suppliers are all raising prices
Posted by PRO Memory Upgrade on Thursday, March 25 2010Online memory upgrade prices will continue to be aggressive at PRO Memory Upgrade
The DRAM suppliers are all raising prices and lead-times are longer than normal. From the reduction of capital expenditure to the financial down turn of the past several quarters, the spot prices have moved sharply up recently. Much trading activity and stock buying has occurred and memory module and prices have soared this past week. Several percentage points per day in fact.
During the downturn, DRAM makers could not buy an order. Now, amid the upturn, there are widespread reports of component shortages in the supply chain. Many chip-makers have raised select product prices. OEMs have lines down and the spot market prices are up.

Popular memory upgrades such as: 2GB SODIMMs, 4GB FBDIMM, and 4GB DDR2 Registered modules will continue to marketed at better than average online prices. Trust us to deliver new parts during this time as well.
